In China there is an old book entitled Ekkinkyo which, following upon Ekkinsenzui, explains how training the body purifies the mind at the same time. This is also said to represent the origin of the karate path. Recently I have been asking myself whether the worrying decrease of energy in the young generations and the coldness that characterizes human relations may not be solved through training. I wonder what is true agreement accord, true harmony, life ...... and I also wish to understand through the body what is the relationship between man and man, and between man and nature. This is the training I wish for. It is natural to wish to become stronger both physically and mentally and obviously the more one trains, the stronger one becomes. However, we do not become strong in order to mistreat the weak. Human beings, by their nature, cannot live alone, so that when we think about our happiness, we also think about that of others and we act putting ourselves in their place.
Training means building a human being capable of all this.
The training in which I believe is that which from now on will allow us to observe a meeting between two people and to define our vision of life and death, to understand in depth the basic principles of humankind through the body. The days that are past and those that we still have to travel through meet right here, in this precise moment.
In this instant our life will be lived intensely: this is what our training aims to be.
